If You Are a Diabetic, Do You Let your Co-workers

I'm not a diabetic, but several present & past co-workers are.
It's a VERY small office & the % shocks me.

Anyway, we've known about all of them. I think it's smart in case you going into shock or something. Also, we understand when they need to go eat NOW & not wait until so & so comes back from their lunch.

We also have emergency ph#'s to reach everyone's family. I once worked somewhere where a female fainted & no-one knew how to reach her husband. :(

I don't know of any diabetics where I work, but what Splash Mountain says makes sense. I think I would like to be aware if one of my co-workers was a diabetic simply for the fact that I may be able to help them if I knew what to do in the event of an emergency.

If you are please let someone know. If something happens they need to be aware that it might be low/high blood sugar.

By the way my DH, who will be 41 this fri, just found out that he is a diabetic. He is doing so well with it. He has a machine that has a connection to the computer and it downloads all the info. It is very cool.
