If/When AP discounts come, how do I ask to split my reservation?

We currently have two rooms reserved with an AP rate at the WL (woods view) from 4/14 through 4/24. It came to about $185 per room. My AP discount is based on the first day I check in. Rack rates will drop on the 4/17. So, assuming AP rates come out for the second half of April, do I call and ask them to "split" my reservation so that beginning on 4-17, we can hopefully get the AP rate applied to a lower rack rate? Is that the right terminology? Thanks!

Me too, I'm just going to call back and apply the AP rate to my 4-17 thru 4-23
part of my reservations. I have done it in the past, we say apply but they actually rebook starting the date the new rates start, its actually very common, have fun
