Hi All,

Despite our valiant efforts to show the Disney Internet Group power-that-be how much we love our Funville, it seems that they are moving forward with closing VMK. The sadness I feel is shared by many so I will not express it here. We all know the feeling.

Next week could not be a worse time for this little world I have loved so much to close as I have a GIANT business trip / venture this coming week that has required working literally around the clock for the past week - allowing no time to enjoy friends and smiles for the final countdown. Normally, this would be chalked up as simply "I'll be back to play in a week," but...... yeah.

Tomorrow night I get on a plane and will have VERY little computer access until - yep, May 23rd. Timing stinks sometimes.

I have not "jumped ship early" or "quit playing" as I know many have. I had planned to have everything ready for my trip yesterday so I could play and be around to share hugs and laughs with as many of you as possible. However, life never goes along with our plans, does it? Due to a family emergency Tuesday (all is well now, thanks) I am pushed to the edge now getting ready for my business trip - leaving literally no play time.

While I have many VMK friends not on DIS, SOOOO many of my friends are right here. I want to tell you all how much you have touched my life over the last 3 years. If we have shared even 1 laugh together, thank you for the memories that I will cherish forever. I wanted to visit each of you to take a photo for my memory album, but that is now not likely to happen. I am HOPING to be able to play a bit in the next 24 hours and truly have no idea what computer access I will have after that for a week.

Arg. This is NOT how I wanted to say "thanks, hugs, and until we meet again....," but for some of you, depending on schedules, sadly it will have to do. I WILL continue checking my DIS mail after VMK closes and hope to keep in touch with so very many of you. PLEASE - If I have not said goodbye to you personally in game, PLEASE understand that was not my plan. If we have ever shared a smile together in game, please feel welcome to drop me a note here. I would LOVE to hear from you and I will be in touch with many of you when real life let's me have a little "me" time in a week.

I ask you each one final favor: Build something fun with all the new goodies. I am jealous of all of you who have time to enjoy these amazingly cute final items. And need I even say it? Ice Ice Baby! Cherish every minute you can - I would kill for the time right now.

Oh dear Dreams I am totally so extremely sad-I can't believe I won't be hable to see you at the end. You have really touched my life and have been one of the best things that have happen to me in VMK and you will not be forgotten here in my life I am extremely thankfull to have meet you.

And yes, it's free. There are options to purchase monthly collectibles at $2.50 each, but you really don't have to. You can also purchase Gaia Cash online or buy purchasing cash cards in stores.
