If we don't have MM on a MM day . . .

Where would you head first? Would you still go to FL first? It's not supposed to be a really crowded day, but we do love Peter Pan. I was thinking we would pick up a ST fast pass on our way to PP, do a bit in Fantasyland, then head to Tomorrowland. We will also be there 1 non-MM day. Should we skip FL first thing on MM day and save it for first thing non-MM day?

Any thoughts?

Hard to say if it is a not crowded day. You might want to have Plan A to do PP first and then FL. But have a Plan B that you switch to if PP is long. And that would involve Adventureland and Frontierland first thing in the morning.

there's also a loop hole trick that some people use. you can get into the park on a MM day without a MM pass if you make ressies for Minnie's Plaza Breakfast. There is a gate just for these breakfasts. Make ressies for the first breakfast, it'll take about a 1/2 hour to eat and all the characters to make the rounds to your table. After breakfast, head to Fantasyland by way of ST fastpass and enjoy the low crowds.:thumbsup2

Note: Usually, you will be walked to the Plaza by a CM, so you will not be able to skip out on your breakfast at the last minute.

I considered this, but my kids aren't really into characters, and for the price of the breakfast we could buy a 3 day park hopper instead of 2 and have the full MM.

Assuming your priority is as MANY rides as possible, then I'd save Peter Pan for your non-MM day. There ARE some rides in Fantasyland that will be OK on a MM day, but for Peter Pan my best guess would be that you will be looking at a 20 minute wait time when you get in. That doesn't sound so bad on paper, but while you're waiting in that 20 minute line, everything else is getting busier (and even walking over there to check the line, you'll be spending time that you could have spent elsewhere). I don't know what your kids can handle, but I'd personally rather wait 30-35 minutes later in the day, when the whole park is more crowded, than 20 minutes when the park first opens and is not crowded. You can get a lot more done with that first 20 minutes than you can the 40 minutes later in the day.

Anyway, since you only have 2 mornings in the park, you'll get the MOST rides in if you do something besides Fantasyland (generally, the left side of the park) on the day when MM is offered, and Fantasyland on the day MM isn't offered.

Now, of course, if your #1 priority is Peter Pan and you want to ride it both mornings, even though it's not the most efficient thing to do, there's nothing wrong with that and it will be fine. I often ride Space Mountain early in the morning even though everyone says you want to avoid that because it has FP available. I just love that ride and nothing wakes you up like a jaunt through space. :) So do what you like to do best, but if you want to get the absolute most stuff done, I'd avoid it on a MM day.

Have a great trip!

I would do Fantasyland on a non-MM day. If you do it on a MM day, there's a good chance that it will still be crowded with MM people when you get there. Generally, it's a good idea to head to the other side of the park when you arrive at opening on an MM day. We have always done Fantasyland on non MM days and arrived at opening. It has worked out great for us and we've never waited in long lines. We follow the same ride patterns as what is recommended for MM. :)
