If we buy DVC on the secondary market FIRST. Disney second

If we buy Beach Club (150-points) on the secondary market first can we buy from Disney (50-points) at a later time? Will those Disney 50-points be good for Adventures by Disney? Will 50 points get you anything towards Adventures by Disney or you have to buy alot more Disney points? Would it ever be worth buying from Disney instead of secondary market?

Just checked the point charts for adventures by Disney 320 points was the cheapest and that was for a child.

Carefully consider the value of purchasing a resale. Disney direct wanted $96/ point for the BWV we paid $74 plus got $2,000 back by selling banked points. lowering the net price to $6x points, plus we have yet to use our points for the other options, as they do not represent a good value, like DCL, OR Adventures or passport. just my .02

Years ago we bought BCV, 200 points resale, later we also bought additional points both resale and direct. Resale points are a much cheaper buy now and we have never or will ever use our points outside of Disney.

This is an important point you make here; with banking & borrowing and current points it is only possible to have 3 use years worth of points available to use.

OP could have more points transferred into their account but those points would have to come from a member who purchased those points direct from Disney too in order to be used for ABD trip.

Would be nice if new DVC leadership reinstates all previous point use options for resale purchases made after March 2011 cutoff, but I doubt that we will see that happen
