would we good to check in for the rest of the reservation when we arrive mid-AM the next day?

If so, should I call MS & have my reservation noted? tried to call today, had to hang up after waiting an hour as RL was calling.

Points are non bankable, resigned to losing a night. trying to look on bright side the room would be ready when we arrive the 2nd day.

Shaggy back story ahead, feel free to skip :)

I’m sure I’m not the only member dealing with recent airline woes. one of the budget airlines cancelled a flight on us two weeks ago, a little over a day prior to flight time. We wound up with long drive to Myrtle Beach. Not about to double it to FL.

Used another budget airline to book flights for fall trip. not about to chance it to get stuck like so many others did, nor stress about it for over a month. The airline in question is still cancelling flights out of both my local airports.

Decided to book SWA appears to have been more reliable the last two weeks. we will take our lumps & lose the original booked airfare for the 3 of us. Unfortunately, the date we need is still currently ridiculously expensive. IMO, 50th anniversary fallout. I’m watching it closely. However, it’s the reason I went with the budget airline in the first place. There’s probably a lesson in there somewhere.

Yeah, I would just call the resort and member services and make sure they know, noted on there for late arrival, or they can cancel your reservation.

Sorry for the troubles you had to endure, definitely not fun.

Great3

I have been told that if you have not accessed the room after two nights and did not let them know before hand you’d be late, it would be a no show.

If you have time, use chat or email them to add the note to your trip. If chat isn’t available when you first log on, just toggle around and it will show up.

Never used either, thanks!

We often book the night before and arrive in the morning. Have them note "late / next day arrival".

I love the chat feature, there's so much you can do with it. As mentioned, it pops up then goes away and comes back, just stay on the site till you see it again. One time I went to the contact us section when I didn't see the button and I was able to access it there. Definitely let them know so you don't have to worry about it.
