Not even affordable housing?

I am not sure a hotel would be suitable for affordable housing. These are rooms with no kitchens. There are plenty of those types of units being used for housing down on 192 but it certainly wouldn't be considered affordable housing.

Such actions don’t appear to be a top priority for the government in Florida

Apartments are certainly being built at a fever pitch in Florida. All around Orlando. We are in Jacksonville and there is always a new apartment complex being built. They simply can't keep up with demand with all the new people moving here. I am not sure what the government can do to provide more affordable housing. It seems to be a supply and demand situation.

Subsidized housing most certainly can be encouraged by the administration.

Well seeing the local economy would implode so really no need to PAID housing. When you look at the economics of it all- and this has been all the financial media. People who need jobs would move. So Either a gated retirement community where income is set or Maybe government paid housing for the homeless. Ship all tent city residents there.

Without Disney “stuff” even resort housing with pools in central Florida with no other attractions wouldn't draw out of state. Even the ourdoor activities in central fir me are meh. Id rather be outdoors in AZ/ CA if I needed warm temps.
