If $$$ was no object...

I would spend a week (or three) at the Contemporary, theme park view room, atrium club level.

The idea of being able to wake up, go out on the balcony and see Magic Kingdom every day makes me :cloud9:

Definately a week in a club level, theme park view, in a room with a balcony at either contemporary or poly. Then another week at the AK resort with a savannah view.

So We have been fortunate to stay at all of my top choice hotels...but if money was no option I would take it to an even farther height and I would want to stay at the Contemporary, top floor concierge level in 1 of their grand suits that has like 2 bedrooms in it and an extended balcony, lol. If we stayed there I can honestly say I don't think I would ever leave our hotel room, LOL

I have three:

Maybe the admiral suite at the Yacht just because of the pool!

OK, we didn't win the billion dollars, but we were blessed with the most amazing Pixie Dust & were upgraded to stay in BOTH of these suites on our last trip!!! We had a club level king room (14th floor) booked at CR & were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which had kitchen, dining room, extra full bath off the foyer, extended balcony & a full sized Christmas tree! Moved to the Yacht Club where we had a garden view club level room booked & were upgraded to The Captain's Deck suite! According to the CM, this is the largest suite at the YC. It had a room with 2 queen beds, a master suite with a 4 poster king bed, Jacuzzi tub & walk in shower, dressing/vanity area, walk in closet, dining table for 10, huge private patio, marble entry with a love seat, office area & living room with a tv with a gaming & sound system. :faint:

Never in a million years would we have expected to stay in 1 of these suites. To stay in both on 1 trip was beyond our imagination! And yep, if I ever win a big lottery, I'd book them again! And add in the best suite in the Grand Floridian main building!! Love RPC!! :goodvibes

I did this! It was amazing and I try not to think about how long it took to pay off. Unfortunately it spoiled me for anything else. :P
GAH!!!! That is amazing. I would be ruined as well! That must have been one heck of a trip!

That is exactly what I would do too! Though I would spend at least a week at WL too. I absolutely LOVE WL!

Not a resort, but I would take an Adventures by Disney trip. DH and I just booked a trip to Greece, and all the research and planning was, at times, overwhelming. I'd love to travel the world by following the Disney's lead!

I would have died right there! LOL they would of had to pick me up off the floor if that ever happened to me, LOL...I would of been like forget all the dining, Fast Passes and months worth of planning bc I am never leaving this hotel room, LOL

I'm sitting here dreaming about winning the Powerball jackpot (which is impossible, since we didn't buy a ticket :P) and wondering if money was no object, which resort would you pick to stay at and why?

:scratchin I'm still pondering my answer.

Animal Kingdom Lodge, because my DS loves animals and I know how excited he would be to see them so often right from our room.

We were in shock! When the first CM at the Yacht Club told us we were upgraded, I actually said " no, that was at the Contemporary"! She had no idea what I meant so I had to explain to her that we had just checked out of the CR & had been upgraded there. The CM checking us in laughed & said she wanted to vacation with us from now on coz we were so lucky!!

In hind site, we probably didn't act very excited although we expressed our appreciation & how thrilled we were several times. Unfortunately we both had bad colds so we were drowsy from all the cold meds so we probably seemed blasé about he whole thing. We had a horrible year with my mom having 2 strokes, my dad hospitalized twice for heart disease & he passed away about 6 weeks before our vacation. So we really needed that vacation & spent lots of time in the rooms. We truely appreciated the upgrades & it really lifted our spirits.

I would own a house in Golden Oak, no question if money was not an object, but I cannot decide between the new bungalows at Poly or GF!

We've fortunately in a very good position that we've been at our mostly top choice which is the Boardwalk for convenience to DHS and EPCOT, as well as we just enjoy the resort. Though I guess if truly money were no object we'd be in the over water bungalows at the Polynesian, who doesn't want to feel like they're in Bora Bora?

Same. We are in a position where we can stay wherever we want, whenever. But if I had to choose a favorite room I've stayed in so far, it's the Asante Presidential Suite at AKL. We have a stay coming up at the Bungalows in the Polynesian next year. Will see how that goes...I was unimpressed with the Poly last time we stayed there.

Can you even book a Grand Villa if you're not DVC? But even if you could, my guess would be that the Presidential Suites would be more expensive since they also include club access.

Presidential Suite is more. We have paid $3200/night for the presidential suite at the AKL versus $2800 for a grand villa. And we are not DVC so yes, anyone can book them. Usually has to be done over the phone and cannot be part of a MYW package.

We have the 3-bedroom grand villa at Aulani in April and even that was less - $3000/night.

I would definitely speed up my plans to buy a house close to the parks!
