...wake up my kids- I'm gonna be LIVID! I don't know what they are doing- screeching over my house again and again and again! Anyone who lives near a military instillation knows what I'm talking about. If one of them decides to be a real show off and break the sound barrier I'll be REALLY mad!

Freedom and employment for a couple of our good friends... Most days I hardly notice it, but this morning the atmosphere was such that it sounded like they were gonna land on the house! Oh well, it beats the SILENCE after 9-11, that was just creepy!

He he! I so know what you're talking about - I live ON a pilot training base, less than a mile from the runways. (It's the fifth busiest airport in the US! ) I hope your kids get used to it!

I live near one .. and they get so loud when they take off that most of the time they set off all the car alarms in the area.

All's quiet this morning! It must have been really loud because someone else said to me yesterday, "What was going on this morning with those fighters?" Usually they land or take off- these guys were "whizzing" all around. BTW.... the kids slept right through it!
