It's total pants that you have to be subjected to all that campaigning until November:scared1: , that would just send me nuts:crazy: . I hate election time, listening to insincere people talking mince hurts my soul:hippie:

::yes:: I totally agree. I am sick of them focusing on the others' inconsistencies etc instead of what we need to be looking at; the state of our economy (if you can call it that, the dollar sucks), health care (my own personal issue), and the middle class or lack there of and why we are getting skrewed right and left. Don't even get me started baybee, it's a sore spot with me. The Shrub has done us NO favors.

:rotfl: Yeh he's not called Bush for no reason...he is a bit of a f**ny:rotfl2:

Not that it's any comfort but our lot are pretty useless too!!!

Glamour?! :thumbsup2 I like it! My personal fav is cookie. :lmao: When Joshua was younger, he called it "your-China". :rotfl2:

Cookie....that's sweet:rotfl: . In the UK some people use China as a name when speaking to people in the same way you might use "doll" or "pal" or "mate", it's like friend. How funny would it have been if Mr Bush had been greeted in the UK with the phrase "Awright, me old China?":lmao: doesn't sound quite the same but ye get the gist;)

:faint: Registered Rebuplican? OMGosh, I am really going to have to rethink our friendship. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :hippie: :hippie: :hippie: :hippie:
I thought you might.......:rotfl2:

What do I have to do to make it up to you?

Hi guy's, I'm enjoying all the blethering going on here. I'm a bit confused about your voting procedures, Jenna why do you have to register with a political party and why would it restrict how you vote on the day. I've been a member of the SNP(Scottish National Party) since I was 18 but if I walked into the voting booth, took a brainstorm and voted for one of the other parties it would not be a problem.

It just matters in the primaries because we are still process of choosing our candidates. When it comes to the biggie in November, it doesn't matter who you are registered with, you can vote for whomever you want. My guess is they don't want the folks who favor a certain party trying to get the lesser candidate on the ballot for the opposing party. :upsidedow

Thanks for answering and explaining it Jenny! You said it better than I would have!

:thumbsup2 37 days???? Awesome even though your mutha is going. ;)

What kind of cancer is spot lighted in the Relay for Life? I am doing one too for breast cancer (see siggy). :teeth: I have a friend who is a bc survivor. We had a fire wife die from bc a few months ago. :sad2: One of the other fire wives put the team together. :)

It's for the American Cancer Society...no type specified. One of our OTs here at school just finished treatment, two of our employees mothers have passed in the last few months, and another employee's son is undergoing treatment for brain cancer.

 I got a letter today from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah denying the $9K in meds for the code the pharmacy used. It's the same code they just paid $5k on. I am going to have a nervous breakdown. I just emailed a consumer advocate from our local news. I am through messing around with this crap!

I am so sorry! And I'm keepin' you in my thoughts. They denied us in the middle too. Jon's dosage was upped, and therefore, they decided they wouldn't pay either. It'll come through honey...I know it will!

I agree I will have to change my name to a J name...something exotic I think. Niamh was nearly a Jocelyn but I prefered it when I had those mad preggie hormones coursing through my veins. Get your thinking caps on lassies I'm looking for something "FABULOUS" with a capital J;)

He is quite cute!

I am friends with a Republican. There I said it. I need a shower now. :lmao:
:rotfl2: Admitting it is the first step......

We were going out to dinner (with kids) last night to celebrate our 11 year, 11 month anniversary & couldn't decide where to go. We narrowed the choices down to Applebee's, Texas Roadhouse, & Red Robin. In the spirit of Election Day, I made ballots for us to vote. Jon, being the smart-alec he is, decided to "write-in" Obama.
(Texas Roadhouse ended up winning.)

That I can do!

::yes:: Indeed you can. I know what you did! You sucked us in and then after you knew we loved you all, told us you were the R word! :rotfl:

I had to edit my post......I didn't want points......

I'll spring ya' from the slammer! ::yes::

 I bet you are SO excited. What ADRs do you have?

Well, since ya asked and everything...;)

No ADRs for the first three days we're there!!! :scared1:

Then, on the 29th of May, we have lunch at RFC in AK. That night, Jon and I are going alone to Boma for a mom and son date.

Saturday, the 31st, we have the P&PP. That night, my mother and my niece are going to 1900 Park Fare. Jon and I are going to hit up CP.

Sunday, the 1st, we're doing Chef Mickey's.

That's all I was inspired to do. My mother believes in starving yourself to be as skinny as possible, so she's not much fun to eat with. I'm JK! Sorta...;)

:faint: No ADRs for 3 days- babybee, you be crazy! I guess you can always make them last minute ifin you wanna.

:rotfl2: I forgot your mom was a case about food and her weight. Do they charge if she justs sniff the food? ;)

:thumbsup2 LOVE the mom/son date idea. Have you to been to Boma? Is it in the AKL?

P&PP? Tell me more....................popcorn:: Do you dress up?

Is Chef Mickey's for b, l, or d?

I cannot believe that with all of the chatter yesterday I forgot to do my countdown. :upsidedow So...............

85 days until Yellowstone!!!!

135 days until Disneyland!!!!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

372 days until WDW!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I have some new Disneyland trip developments too. My friend really wants to fly so we were thinking if we could find cheapie tickets, we might. I found Jet Blue from SLC to LGB (Long Beach) for $69 for the flight out and $79 for the flight home. So for $837 all 5 of us can fly and skip the 10 hour :car: to and from So Cal. She also decided she HAS to try the Blue Bayou since she has never been. We agreed to do lunch, first seating to insure a water seat. :woohoo: This boils down to me adding about $500 to the trip but it allows us one more full day at the parks (5 total) and a fun meal at the BB!
