Hope everyone had a great weekend!!:goodvibes

:lmao: :lmao:

Had a lovely weekend, the weathers been dry and sunny:banana: . We're all off on holiday this week so we went to Stirling castle yesterday and Loudon castle today...I just hope we don't run out of steam by the end of the week;)

Hope your birthday and weekend went well:goodvibes

Wow Kirsteen you've been lucky with the weather I thought Scotland had loads of rain forecast recently, we had horrendous hail storms yesterday  We're off to Port Lympne animal park tomorrow so pray for no rain here :rotfl2:

:goodvibes Hope your weather's good today Jo. We woke up to rain but it's dried up so we're planning on a picnic at Mugdock Country Park when Becci comes back from tennis. I can't believe we've been so lucky with the weather, it's not that warm but Donny caught some sun on his baldy head yesterday so the sun must have been reasonably strong:rotfl: . Hope you have a good day and the animals are out for you honey:thumbsup2

:wave2: Hi guys!!! Happy to be home and just checking in to say hola. I still have to read back but I did see Jenna had a proper birthday here! :cool1: I'll be back to give trip highlights etc.... :teeth:

I like the restaurant idea even better :thumbsup2

Looks like I'll be buying it alone. I have had a total of 3 parents respond.

That is so cute, where did he get the music from? Have fun :wave2:

I think he got it all from LimeWire. It even had the music from Soarin' on it. :cloud9: I swear I almost went to Disneyland instead of my friend's house. We had just passed Vegas and we could have taken the Los Angeles offramp. I was so close to doing it but wasn't sure how DH would have felt about spending an extra $2,000 we hadn't talked about. :rotfl2:

He is doing great right now. Thanks for asking. We've been in the hospital on and off over the past few months. But, the past few weeks we've been coasting. (knock on wood) He needs this vaca to have some fun and bring smiles. So does mama!!!

We are sooooo excited!

Miss you guys!

:goodvibes I am so glad you guys are doing well. Why was he in the hospital? :sad1:

Here is some pixiedust: for your birthday Jenna.
:bday:

:wave2:

Thank you guys!! :grouphug:

Jon was actually the first one of the family to wish me Happy Birthday (at 4 am!:scared1:) He woke up that early thinking it was time to go to school.

Chris wished it to me as he was getting ready to get on the bus. Then Nate said, "Oh yeah, Happy Birthday." Men!

We went out to dinner last night as we are travelling to Nate's parents this weekend. We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, and I had a fried ice cream sundae in lieu of cake.:cloud9: We'll have cake next week when we celebrate with my family. Stretching out the fun!:)

I am glad you had a good birthday. I was hoping to be able to offer you half of the Powerball for your bday! :flower3:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNA! :yay: I hope you have a great one!

Drive by poster! :lmao:

Happy Birthday Jenna......:dance3: :dance3:

:wave2: Hi Jordan.

You should try living with him.:headache:
;) :lmao:

:rotfl: No thanks! ;)

Methinks Nate is a NAUGHTY boy:smooth:

::yes:: That's what I have heard. :rotfl:

Glad you're back safely and had a great time:thumbsup2

One of the castles was in Ayrshire, its a ruined castle where the grounds have been turned into a theme park (of sorts...ahem:rolleyes1 ). The second, Stirling Castle, figures very strongly in Scottish history (Mary Queen of Scots lived there for a while) and we thought it might get Becci and her friend interested in their heritage:lmao: ....but back here on planet earth they were more interested in the male french students that were there:scared: . We've had some great days out so far this week but most activities are very expensive in the UK so we'll have to settle for some free stuff for the rest of the week

:welcome: home. Hope you had a nice trip.

:thanks: The trip was a blast but the drive was much too long for such a short trip. My friend said it was about an 11 hour drive tops but it took 13 with minimal stops. We drove straight thru there but stopped and stayed the night on the way back.

Our friends' home is beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the kids LOVED their pool. I hear it gets to be about 120* in July and August but it was gorgeous this weekend. We ate waaaaaay too much and drank waaaaay to little (they are religious folk who don't partake) ;) Next time we'll go for a full week not counting the drive. It's good to be home. DH finished the tile backsplash in the kitchen which looks unreal :thumbsup2 and added a new tile border to our jetted tub in the Master bath. He was a busy guy! :lovestruc

French boys? Ooo la la! :rotfl2: Do you have any pictures, I'd love to see the grounds. popcorn::

Yeah, surly boys with long hair will do it every time as far as I remember:scared1: .

No pictures unfortunately as my camera's not working and Becci couldn't find hers. At the moment this summer will be filled with trips to castles and the like so I'll take loads of pics and bore you with them come July. We're planning to go to Castle Urquhart the weekend before my birthday for a medieval weekend with jousting tournaments...that should be good for a laugh and some interesting photo ops.;)

That sounds really cool and not boring at all! :thumbsup2 DH has always wanted to go to Scotland and see the rich history. My FIL is part (the good part) Scottish and has been twice. He's a right sexy wee ba$tard. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Any new WDW info or are you still is waiting mode until May? :hyper:

:goodvibes I am so glad you guys are doing well. Why was he in the hospital? :sad1:

He's been in for illness. When he gets sick, his adrenal insufficiency causes his body to shut down without extra meds. (that was my long explanation made simple) So, we have to hospitalize to pump him full of extra meds to prevent yucky things from happening and to give him the ability to heal.

Glad you're back. Glad you had a nice trip. Too bad about the drinkin!!! :rotfl:

We had gorgeous weather even wore our shorts, yes we did scare a few people :rotfl2:

Can't see what his problem would have been :rotfl2:

Our's was £50 ($100) today :scared1: thank goodness for Tesco vouchers :rotfl2:

 Poor guy but you said he's on the mend now right? he and Chloe have so much in common. :goodvibes

There wasn't nearly enough booze on my trip. :rotfl2: It was sort of surreal sitting by the pool sober. :lmao:
