If Sunday was your first day on vacation, which park do you go to?

Im planning on EpCot for 1 of our Sundays
MGM for the other

EPCOT is usually light every day compared to the other parks. MK might not be too bad as a lot of people will be checking out and headed home, I know we will be entering our last week of school here then.

Would get my vote in answer to your question. :goodvibes :flower: :sunny: :wizard:

Thats our first day too, and we are heading to Disney Studios- maybe we will see you in transit:)
D.D.

We just got back from WDW and went to Disney on Sunday, the 27th. It was not crowded and very enjoyable. It was raining a bit, so that probably had something to do with it. I have read in UG and on the boards that Sunday is a good day to go to MK.

It's never a bad day to go to Epcot - it's so big that it never seems crowded.l

we'll be spending this sunday at MK, becos that's the day it has early morning magic hour. :goodvibes

Don't care what day it is, the 1st day just HAS to be MK!!!! That is the park we always hit b4 any place else!

Magic Kingdom on Sunday for sure! When I was there in Sept, We were told by the cast member at the hotel that Sunday was the best day at MK because it is a transition day, so the park will not be crowded. And that is exactly how we found it. Not crowded. Longest wait was 15-20 minutes for Splash. everything else was walk on. :earsgirl:

It is our first trip: I am getting there on a Sunday too- probably will get to the park around noon or so. It is 6/5 so last day of Gay Days. I am planning on heading over to EPCOT because it is the park that the rest of my group (arriving late sunday night) doesnt want to see much of. Is this a good idea?

That Monday we were told to avoid the MK because it's a Monday and because of the Gay Weekend thing. We have never been before but would it be a horrible (and weird) idea to spend that Monday at Universal just so our first Disney park is MK??

Normally Sunday is a good day for MK, as other posters have suggested. Sunday is a travel day for most guests. With Sunday being a travel day, MK is ALWAYS busy on Monday--see ErinInCT's post :teeth: Keep in mind that with the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" starting May 5, all parks will be crowded. Be there at park opening, and you'll be able to do a lot in a short amount of time.

Sunday May 15th---We are starting our trip in EPCOT

gotta have my margarita in Mexico, then dinner at Rose and Crown!

Wouldn't there be more of a local crowd at MK on the weekends? I always thought MK was the place to avoid on weekends because of this reason.

Sunday morning is normally a great time for the MK. Lots of folks at church services. Epcot is good too, because there's so much room!

I couldn't agree more!!! :earboy2:

I think everyone should go to any park other than MK.

So I can have MK all to myself.
