If splitting stay...

I am considering splitting our stay between two resorts, and wondered if we can get transportation directly from one resort to the other, or if we have to go to the park, and hope on the "right" bus for the new resort. Seems kind of primitive, but I bet that's the only way, isn't it??

Also, here's what I'm thining about doing: Staying at either ASM or POR for 4 nights and then to BCV studio for the remaining 3 (objective: to see each place and have more space in studio). OR

Staying at ASM for 3 nights and POR for 4 (objective: to see what each place is like and save a little money).

OR should we just bite the bullet and get two adjoining rooms at ASM, have the space we need (5 of us, with one under 3 and one who's the size of an adult), make the best of the resrot, and pray for a code to come out later.
I have posted regarding this stuff before - still confused as to what to do.

Thanks, Danielle

Welcome to the DIS, Moopdog!

If you split your stay between two resorts, you can arrange to have you luggage transferred from one resort to the second by contacting bell services in your first resort. They'd pick up your luggage, and you could head off to a park for the day, and head to the second resort in the afternoon (I always wait until after the "official" check in time).

As for your choices, well, you have three very different scenerios there. If your under three year old is as big as an adult, the Beach Club may not work for you. If the under three year old is too big for a portacrib, you may be too squished in a studio with a queen sized bed and a double sized pull out couch.

The ASM/POR might be a nice option, assuming you can get a room with a trundle bed. The trundle would be perfect for the under three year old.

I wish I could tell you one way or another, but I really don't know.

Actually, if your objective of staying at BCV's is to see that resort, you may want to consider the regular hotel portion of the BC since you have 5 and your 3yr old is on the bigger side;) Although the Studio at BCV's would have the kitchenette, the sleeping arrangements as noted are 1 queen bed and a sleeper sofa. You could get a room at BC though that has 2 queen beds and a daybed which would fit you more comfortably. Just something to consider...it's defenitly worth the stay at BC for the pool alone (SAB).

Other than that, I'd go with either the trundle bed option at POR or get the 2 rooms.

Best of luck!

This will be our second year changing resorts during our stay. We got up for an early breakfast packed our things, called the bell service and went off on our day. While you are out they transfer the bags and at the end of the day we just took a different bus back from whatever park we were at. When we checked in they sent the bags up to our room. I found it very convenient and seemless other than packing again mid trip. Have fun! :earsboy:

we're actually staying at 3 resorts this Aug
starting at Pop, then to WL then ending at BCV
the day we switch from Pop to WL we'll take bus to MK then boat to Lodge
the day we switch from WL to BCV we'll take boat to MK then bus to EpCot

Oh great thread because I was just thinking the other day of splitting our stay up between POFQ and AKL (4 nights at each) and wondered how to do this easily without wasting Park time!!
