If Spirit/Southwest Airlines Snafu Happens Can You Cancel or Move Your Hotel Date?

So looks like the only credit cards that have good travel insurance are the top of the line Chase and American Express cards that have the $600 annual fee:

The Chase card is totally worth it. We earned $2500 cash back last year with ours. The annual fee is a drop in the bucket (although we have ours waived due to active duty military status). The Chase Sapphire Reserve gives you annual credits and perks that amount to more than the fee. The first $300 you spend on travel is automatically credited back to you, dropping the fee to an effective $250. Then, you can get a credit for either TSA Precheck or Global entry ($100 credit) and you also get an annual Doordash credit of $60, so those two knock off another $160 bringing your effective fee to $90. You also get Priority Pass membership which gets you into airport lounges all around the world, where you get to enter for free and eat and drink alcoholic beverages also for free. That membership is worth $429 annually. So, you're actually ahead if you take advantage of all these things. Not to mention, the included travel insurance is something that would cost you, on average, about $100-150 PER TRIP if you purchased it separately. This card is absolutely amazing. In addition, it's so easy to rack up points due to generous earnings rates.
