If SAB becomes off-limits, where will you pool hop?

Since everyone seems to be so sure that hopping to SAB will be eliminated when BCV opens, I'm wondering which pool (s) will become the most popular (for hopping) with DVC members.

Please vote for the pool you are MOST likely to hop to assuming that SAB is no longer an option.

From the various poolhopping threads I think it is interesting that they are talking of ending SAB hopping or hopping altogether...it seems that on any given day only a few people poolhop. I seriously doubt it has any serious capacity impact on SAB or any other pool...but if making SAB more restrictive will help sell BCV that is more likely the reason to make the change...the rest of poolhopping seems miniscule, is a nice perk to throw to DVC members and despite some posts around here to the contrary- it costs Disney practically nothing...and I don't believe it is a creator of any serious headaches for them, either. It is a drop in the pool...the local pool crashers sound like a bigger issue- but that too may be overblown, hard to tell...

There are a number of the pools I'd like to hop to. I've used SAB, GF, Poly , BW so far and I'll probably try out AK, CS and PO in the near future.

The Poly sounds like fun. Never been there. But from the BW, it seems like a pain to get there. (Unlike the easy walk over to the SAB).

Does that not say...We need to update, and improve the main pool at OKW?

Adding a slide, and improving the pool would not effect the overall "casual, laidback feeling at OKW"

It would just add a little more excitement, and fun in the pool area!

Even the Value Resorts have more votes for pool hopping!
I don't think that says much for our OKW- DVC pool!


Please, if you have an opinion....say it, BUT don't cut me down for my view on the pool! Thanks!

On our last 2 trips we have enjoyed lunch at the Kona Cafe and then a few hours in the pool. Would never have done this before the refurb of the Poly's pool. If they do eliminate pool hopping to SAB, it just gives us an excuse to stay there for a weekend.

Why would someone want to go to the extra trouble of pool hopping to OKW???? When I have stayed at OKW, I have pool hopped to BWV or SAB. Since it seems the general consensus that SAB will be off limits to DVC pool hopping priviledges and I stay at BWV 99.9% of the time, so I have no need to pool hop to Luna Park, I voted for the pool at the Poly. I love the atmosphere at the Poly and the new pool is an added plus. My next choice would have been WL pool.

Let me see if I can translate this... DVC members who are staying at the BCV will have access to SAB. BCV will also have it's own pool area called Dunes Cove, which will include a quiet pool, a heated spa, and a pool building with lockers and restrooms. I would guess that DVC members staying at other DVC locations probably CAN use Dunes Cove... they just can't use SAB.

We really like the pool at CS because the deck is very large and the volleyball court is the best one on property. Always plenty of spikers around to get up a game. Better bring your own ball...

We have never pool hopped, just don't see the attraction. We are in WDW for the parks, resturuants and activities, not swimming.

Couldn't care less if they got rid of it altogether.

I am more than happy with the OKW pool. I would not want to see a slide or any changes there.

I am not voting.

I do not believe that SAB will be cut off.

No other DVC resort has cut off pool hopping when the villas section opened.

If DVC reads these boards and sees that everyone is accepting that SAB is going to be cut off, then it will make their decision easier.

I sent MS an email and asked about it a few weeks ago.

It stated pool hopping is available if you call the resort first.
