Hi
if your port arrival is early ( let’s say your lucky ) arriving in a Uber / Lyft will they be able to drop you off ?
and just an idea of the price from all star to port for those who have done it ( 2 adults
thanks

Are you asking if Uber is allowed to drop you off? The answer is yes. It will cost you about $90-$100

Just be prepared to wait in a line outside of the terminal. The last time we sailed this past September we arrived around our PAT time of 11:30 and we along with others who had earlier PAT times had to wait in lines outside of the terminal. It was closer to noon when we actually were able to enter the terminal.

IMO FWIW, if you are staying at a WDW resort, I would use their transportation. Using their transportation, you don’t have to worry about a PAT or a boarding group - Disney will assign one for you and it is generally one of the earliest PAT and Boarding Groups, but YMMV!

Also, from reading this forum, I saw that getting an Uber/Lyft to agree to such a long one way trip can be hard to find, might hit surge pricing, and/or require you to pay for their return trip. However, I don’t know that and YMMV.

I hope you find what you are looking for and have a great cruise!

Uber and Lyft are ok to drop you off if arrive early that your port arrival time you might have to wait outside the DCL terminal building until your port arrival time matches the QR code sometimes works if you are 3 to 5 mins early.

The cost of Uber and Lyft around $75 to $100 if you are using taxi about $190 to $210 that's with Mears Taxi's remember that prices might not include toll road fees sometimes it gets added onto the bill when the journey finishes.

If you use lyft them it is a good idea to order it early as a clock comes on 10 minute them after that you have to wait until your phone vibrates once it vibrates it means you've been matched with a driver but if it cancels it's back to the clock and start all over again. I find Uber is more reliable than lyft.

Another option you can use DCL bus they pick up from Disney hotels you don't need to worry about port arrival times with DCL bus

Just use Disney.... Any problems become their problems too.
Yes exactly and as it's only for 2 people DCL bus transfers is the cheapest options it cost lesser than lyft wait and save. On the DCL bus you get to board the ship early and have lunch and you have more time to go swimming before the mandatory drill

I don't think Lyft/Uber can require you to pay for their return trip. Pricing is set via the app (not by the driver), and once the driver accepts the ride they're locked in unless they cancel it. Though I do agree there might be drivers less inclined to so a long drive like that.

Uber/Lyft can drop you off as long as the port is accepting guests (so you can't get there tooooooo early). But if they're allowing parking/drop offs, then there's no reason why a ridehsare couldn't drop you off.

As others have noted, pricing is dynamic, so any quotes you get here are just that. It could be a lot higher depending on time of day, demand/surge pricing, etc.

I said that I didn’t know. In addition, I mentioned that they could likely find the thread where I read this info on this forum. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I no where said that I knew for sure this was the case, but OP asked about pricing so I addressed things that could possibly be a factor in the cost. Glad that you are an expert on Uber/Lyft and can provide the correct information. I’m sure OP will appreciate your knowledge. 🏅

I forgot to say if you use lyft avoid selecting wait and save option instead use lyft standard, priority or Lyft XL as wait and save can keep you waiting a long time after when the clock has finished if it cancels you have to start again you could miss the ship by that way with wait and save option on Lyft.
If you using Uber/lyft go for XL as you'll have luggage.
Have a great cruise
