I am thinking of paying OOP for a few meals (non buffet) and was wondering if I will be able to share with my 4 year old, instead of getting her a kids meal. Teppan Edo dinner and Kona breakfast specifically. We have 4 adults and her so there should be plenty of food to share right?

You're allowed to share unless it's an all-you-can-eat or buffet meal. :upsidedow

Thanks, I know it is an obvious question, I just don't want to get any dirty looks, lol. At WCC last year at bfast are then 2 yr old shared with us and the server commented on how he should charge her for a meal (she was 2 ?!) I just didn't want something like this to happen if we share a plated meal now that she (will be) 4.

At the Whispering Canyon Cafe, your server was just joking with you. That's the theme of the whole place. Don't take it personally. It probably was that your daughter was eating a nice meal while her arents were "doing without".

Sharing meals is very common at Disney World so don't worry about it. Just say that the two of you are sharing a meal and the server will take care of it. It is nice to leave a little extra tip as the server is missing out on a tip on a kids meal and still doing the same amount of work.

We've shared lots of meals and never had anything said. I don't think it will be a problem.
