If not WP where? (Intimate) wedding

I had my heart set on WP but it doesn't look possible due to our arrival and the fact you cannot get married there on a Friday!! If you could not do the WP please tell me where you would have your Intimate wedding, and why? Also, it is just the two of us, my 7 yr old dd and her nanny for the trip. I would like to do something special that night...fireworks cruise, etc any tips for a party so small? I am willing to shell out some $$$ but I think the Yacht is out:--)

There are plenty of places besides the WP for instance

Sunset Pointe
Seabreeze Pointe (Boardwalk)
Sunrise Terrace (Wilderness Lodge)
Yacht Club gazebo

I think Sunset Pointe would be my second choice. But I have stayed at the Beachclub and both Seabreeze Pointe and the Yacht Club Gazebo are beautiful. I personally didn't like the Gazebo because I feel you loose the intimacy of a private event because everyone walking by stops to watch. And I'll admit I was guilty of that myself.

I have been told that the Wishes firework cruises are wonderful and you can get a private boat with dinner or a dessert party on board. That would be special.

All of the Intimate locations are beautiful so it's just a matter of personal preference. We chose the WL Sunrise Terrace. We weren't crazy about the WP and we wanted an outdoor site that was more private. We both love WL and the view from the wedding site is simply gorgeous. Our second choice was Seabreeze at Boardwalk but it seemed like anyone could be walking on the Boardwalk and see your wedding, we wanted more privacy. A lot of brides love Sunset Point but I'm in the minority of having grown up in FL and never needing to see another palm tree, and definitely not at my wedding The Gazebo is lovely, if you like hearts, but again it's pretty out in the open.

It just depends on what style you want and there is an option for you! If you can, take a trip to see each location, which is what DH and I did and once we saw the WL site we knew that was the one

Our first choice was Sunset Pointe but we ended up having our ceremony at Seabreeze Point. And I could not have loved the place more! It's just such a beautful spot...

I thought it was kinda cool that folks there at Disney could stop and see us getting married! It was just DH and me and I remember just wanting to shout out to the whole world "I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!" But, of course, you can't really do that!

We absolutely loved SBP. We loved being seen on the Boardwalk and we even had one of the friendship launches toot their horn as they passed by our ceremony.

We used Sunset Pointe, and it was absoultly perfect for us. It's got one thing that you can only get there or the WP, you can see the Castle in the background, not as big but it's deffinatly there. It's also more private then the Boardwalk locations, because it's not on the main drag, and the aisle is huge so your far from the path even if people are passing. I just really liked the look of it myself, the palm trees, I wanted to get married on a beach somewhere, so this was PERFECT.
