If not using the carseat on the plane or DME should I even bring them?

We are planning to fly to Orlando in February with our two daughters, ages 4 and 1.
Im not buying a plane ticket for our youngest daughter, she will sit in my lap. My older daughter rides in a booster seat, so theres no need to bring that on the plane, being that there are only lap belts on the plane.
We are staying on property so we will travel from the airport to the hotel in the disneyworld transportation. Magical express I think its called? From previous posts I see that their carseats will not be necessary on that either. Im now wondering if it we should even bring either of their carseats with us. We dont plan to rent a car and plan to stay on the Disneyworld property the entire time.
We will be arriving around 10am and when leaving, our plane departs around 10:45am. Should I call the hotel and ask them? I would really hate to drag two carseats all the way to Florida and then find out we never used either one, but then again Id sure hate to get there only to find out the hotel sent a car to get us and we dont have any carseats. Opinions? Advice? Thanks.

If you don't need them, don't take them. They are such a pain to lug around. We took ours b/c we rented a car and had to have them.

If you are staying inside Disney than you will be taking the Magical express to your resort..it is a bus with no seat belts, so if you did have a car seat with you it would have to be stored underneath where the luggage goes. I would say not to bother bringing them..there would be no where for you to use them.

If you are flying and not planning to put your youngest in a car seat on the plane, using Magical Express to get to your hotel, and relying solely upon Disney buses for transportation during your vacation, you have no need for car seats. Save yourselves some big effort and leave them at home!

You won't need them and booster seats aren't allowed on planes anyway. The only time you may need one is if you take a taxi to Sea World oe somewhere off property- and many of the taxis have carseats in them.

True. Just in case you go anywhere off property, I am sure the concierge can give you ideas on renting car seats. They are everywhere here. I have not heard of car seats in the taxis here, but it is very possible I am wrong. I would try to find out ahead of time if you have any inkling of going anywhere else while you are here.

Another vote to leave them at home--you'll literally never be able to use them. Magical Express and the disney trasportation busses do not allow carseats/boosters.

I would leave them at home! I wasn't going to take ours since we are flying, taking the Magical Express and staying strictly onsite. However, I realized that DD2 will need it on the plane - otherwise, she will be the child screaming and running up and down the aisle! DS flew when he was 4 and we didn't use anything for him and you won't need anything for the lap sitter. Save yourself the frustration!

But, if you find you need to rent one, there are local rental places that have baby items... one is a baby's best friend (www.abbf.com) I think.

PS. I envy you with no car seats

I wouldn't bring them. I never brought them when my kids were small. If we rented a car, we got them from the rental car place. We always used Disney Transportation anyway. I always brought strollers, but no car seats.
