If meeting A&E aren't a priority should we be OK?

So I'm reading all of these nightmare stories about the lack of FP+ and am wondering if I should be preparing my DH for long lines (which he won't do) . My kids are 10 and don't really care about meeting A&E but will definitely want to ride 7DMT. They were only 5 when we went last time so they couldn't really ride the rollercoasters. Except Barnstormer and BTMRR which they loved. I'm thinking our MK priorities would be all the mountains, haunted mansion, buzz, philharmonic, IASW, and barnstormer. I know we don't have a magic 8 ball but what do you think - we should be OK? By OK I mean, see what we want with waits under 30 minutes. We will do 2 days at MK but our week is the Saturday before Thanksgiving till the Friday after. Also we will book 60 days out. Please help calm my nerves.

Yes. If those are your priorities you should only have issues with 7dmt. You may have to book overlapping singles for that one.

There are a lot of posts out now about how hard it is to get FPs. You can look at availability at this site:

You may have to register to see the FP availability.

Some of the answer depends on when you are going. Seven Dwarves is the hardest to get on your list. Look for that first later in your trip. We went Memorial Day week which was fairly busy. We were able to get Big Thunder, Space, Buzz and HM FPs after our first three were used. IASW, Philharmagic and Barnstormer often have shorter waits.

You're going over Thanksgiving. Because crowds are high, park hours are long and they run attractions at the max. Plus, there are no parties while you're there so the MK is open long hours every day. You likely won't have a problem getting your FP+s due to all these factors. But the SB lines will be long for anything you don't have a FP+ for. That's a function of the super crowded time and nothing to do with FP+.

Given that 7DMT has been filling up 60 days out, that might be the tough one to get. But at 60 days, you can book for your entire trip, so you have better chance getting FP on days nearer the end of the trip like previous poster said. You can also do 7DMT right at rope drop. You will definitely want to reserve FP for the mountains as next priority. That week might be busy week, not sure how available additional FP will be at kiosks after you use your first three, but would guess you should be able to get FP for HM, Buzz, Barnstormer at kiosks. Best bet for avoiding lines: be at the park before rope drop, you can get a ton of rides done the first hour or so that the park is open.
