...or perhaps Beach Club Villas. Starting early next week we will spend 12 days! We originally planned to spend a few days at OKW, leaving home just after school ends. Then decided to spend a couple of days doing Universal Orlando, staying two nights at the Hard Rock Hotel. Then couldn't resist going back to Disney for a few more days, staying at the Beach Club Villas, meeting up with my sister and her family. We were going to leave on Friday of the second week, but then thought that we might as well stay another night -- since we loved Boma's and our visits to AKL, we made a reservation to stay at AKL for that last night.
Whew! It is exciting but almost overwhelming. The first three days will be my two children and myself, then my husband will join us, then the extended family. It should be fun having the various combinations of folks, as well as the variety of accommodations! Luckily we pack lightly, but still.....
Having two other trips planned later this year, along with annual passes and more time than usual, I think we might actually take advantage of a more relaxed pace, and spend more time at the resorts. It seems to relieve some of the commando touring of the parks. Any advice from any other "resort hoppers" out there? (I have split my visit between two resorts before, but honestly have spent most of the time at the resort sleeping, just as a base for going to the parks.) Any amenities at these resorts that are "not to be missed" but I may have overlooked due to our rushing to and from the parks?
I can't wait!
