Pixie dust appreciated...


My poor ds3... We were thrilled to find out from the ENT he doesn't have tubes, so I posted a happy thread about that yesterday.. Today however, my little guy is sick to his stomach and has been vomiting since this morning.


He doesn't have a fever or 'the runs' , and he's fine otherwise, it's just he's thrown up about 4 times this morning. I called his pediatrician, and she said just to let him rest for a while and later today try to give him a tiny bit of pedialite every 30 minutes.

I wonder what causes that? He had that in January were he was just vomiting every hour, and we took him to the ER only to have him feeling great that evening and no more problems.

Awww, poor little guy. It just breaks your heart when your little ones are sick doesn't it?

Hope he feels better and you try to get some rest too.

you could try giving him small sips of canned peach juice...I know it sounds weird but it really does work to help with vomiting!

Sorry to hear about your little boy. Hopefully, he will get over this little bug quickly.
As far as the tubes go, one of my children had to have tubes and I was so against having them put in as I was nervous for him, BUT they ended up being the BEST thing we ever did! The results were almost instant and we saw a huge difference. The nice thing, is the tubes fall out on there own several months after they are put in so you don't have to go through another procedure.

Thanks everyone. Aaron is feeling a little better, at least he hasn't thrown up in 3 hours. I made him a mixture of warm Mountain Dew and water to drink ( I know... it sounds aweful , but he wouldnt hold down apple juice, and his pediatrician said to make sure the drink wasn't hot or cold lol) He has held it down so far, and my dh is gonna pick up some Pedialite from the store after work today.

I hope the worst is over *crosses fingers* I'm starting to get distrought about my frequent shirt changes and floor mopping.
