We had a few of those jumbo sized cups. Notice the word HAD. Thats how I solved that!

I'd like to do that, but he would just go out and get more..he likes his big jumbo cups! That said, if I leave them in the sink and he runs out he will wash them by hand. He is so weird...I can have an empty dishwasher, but he will not load it, he'll wash everything by hand.

I used to date a guy that when they were young, his mom put all of their dirty dishes that had been left around the house in their bed while they were at school. Complete with spg sauce on them and all. Gravy, whatever.

That night, when they decided to go to bed, they found all of their dirty dishes there. And now of course the sheets had to be washed, dried, etc. And they had to do their own.

She claims it took them only a few nights of this to break their habits of leaving dirty dishes all over the house......

We use Dixie cups here. The regular cups & glasses are out of my kids' reach, although they are a bit younger than it sounds like yours are. That's about the only solution I can think of for your case--good luck!

Wow, that is seriously disrespectful in my opinion. Honestly, I would not allow that to happen. That young lady would be getting the kind of talking to that makes her ears burn but then I have a very low tolerance for disrespect. Can't say my way is always best though, certainly there could be many other, better solutions.

LOL, oh trust me, there are many other opportunities for disrespect! I pick my battles when it comes to different things. Alittle humour goes a long way when it comes to raising kids. If I went toe to toe on every little thing, one of us would be dead!

And you are right, everyone has their own style.
