can I give them away when we get there? We need 4 adult tickets(three actual adults and then 1 for my DD9 who will be 10 by the time we go,RATS!!)
If I rder the tickets from the internet where you get a childs ticket free with each adult ticket, we'll have 4 child tickets. We need 1 for my DD4, but we'll have 3 leftovers. Can I give them away?

nobody knows?

I don't see why not. We bought five adult tickets and got five free kids tickets (I have five kids) and then sold the three extra adult tickets to someone who already used them, so I don't see why you couldn't give the kids tickets away. I think it would be a very nice gesture! :thumbsup2

But are the tickets(adult & child) "linked together"? Say there's a family buying tickets and they have three kids. The adults buy their tickets and then we gave them the free kids tickets. Do the US workers need to see the adult ticket that goes with the free ticket? Does that make any sense?

I have been slammed several times for this opinion. I also think it's a nice gesture and if you're giving it to people who are going in at the same time as you, I don't see the problem. You're giving away something that was free and you can't use. And it may makes someone's day.

JMO. Still is.

I think it is a nice thing too. But it can be hard to give things away. Had a hard time giving people Fast passes we couldn't use in WDW. When we used the BIadult Get 1 child Universal tickets they were not linked.

The best thing to do would be to save them for a future trip.

It might be a nice thing to do but please don't try it on Universal property. If you must give it away, give it to a friend or relative before you go. If you give it away onsite, the tickets could be confiscated.

If the tickets have a problem scanning at the turnstiles, the people you gave it to will have to be able to know who ordered them and when.

I know it sounds like a nice gesture but those tickets are meant to encourage families with young children to give Universal a try. If the tickets are abused, this ticket option may be withdrawn and we all lose.

SCAMMERMOM-Thank You

WISH I LIVED In FL- I thought of that you know. Trying to give them away and people just looking at me like I'm crazy. I read on here about people trying to give away FPs. Sad isn't it?

PHAMTON-I see your point. I thought about saiving them for another time, but I thought they expired.

Anyone want to lend me three of their children to go to Universal Studios. :rotfl:

I agree that it's a nice gesture.

however, earlier thiis year Universal discovered people were selling their free children's tickets on Ebay as Adult tickets. it's abuses like that which could cause Universal to change their ticket policies and promotions.

You can save them. Universal will honor them if you placed the order.

And as far your question if they are linked: Yes and no. At the turnstiles, they can't tell if they are linked but, if they don't scan properly which happens from time to time, you will be sent to Guest Services. They can tell who purchased them and all the tickets on the order.
