What ever happened to the travel write off for taking vacations this year? Is that still a thing?
Now you’re talking. Spend up to $4k each, must be used stateside, at least 50 miles from home, and they’ll reimburse you on next years taxes. What ever happened to the travel write off for taking vacations this year? Is that still a thing?

I’m kind of sad it never happened.
Would've been fun spending that money! WDW would be PACKED.I’m kind of sad it never happened.
Maybe it might be a thing when they feel more comfortable about people traveling. Right now they want everyone to stay at home. Hopefully, whoever is in office will reconsider it. But, outlook not good. I already have all my receipts saved just in case.Would've been fun spending that money! WDW would be PACKED.
Maybe resale if it passes ROFL .lolGot mine! $172 Would it cover 1 point if I buy 300 RIV?
It might cover one point but not the closing costGot mine! $172 Would it cover 1 point if I buy 300 RIV?
I was looking at resale today and BRV is definitely the lowest at WDW. No one every complains about the studios there. I don’t understand why that is so low. When it first opened, what was its sale price?
There are also 45 lock off 2 bedrooms, which probably book mostly as studios. It's a small resort, but there aren't very many reports of getting shut out at 11 months. AFAIK, it's only been tough to get studios there during December. Once the rehab II s completed, my guess is that it will become more popular.I think there’s only 20 studios there. It expires 2042. And lately it’s even been difficult to book there at with limited availability. Originally $67/point I believe
Oops. This time around, we didn’t even get money for the children. I didn’t realize kids were also subject to the phaseout this time. So I guess I wouldn’t buy anything because we are getting $0We get money for our children but we let them choose what to do with it. Last time, they chose to give it to St. Jude’s. This time, they’ve selected a food pantry and soup kitchen run by Saint Vincent De Paul.
It wouldn’t buy us more than a few points, unfortunately.
I guess you could say I am donating mine. I am paying off a dental bill where I paid over 2000 to help my adult daughter get her teeth fixed.I definitely applaud those who donated their stimulus!
