If I get the stimulus check, I would add on at...

What ever happened to the travel write off for taking vacations this year? Is that still a thing?
Now you’re talking. Spend up to $4k each, must be used stateside, at least 50 miles from home, and they’ll reimburse you on next years taxes.
What happened to our free vacations lol ?

eta- WDW CL13 for all of 2021

I would like to get some Boulder Rigde, thats what originally got me to purchase DVC! Ended up with GFV and CCV though.

I was looking at resale today and BRV is definitely the lowest at WDW. No one every complains about the studios there. I don’t understand why that is so low. When it first opened, what was its sale price?

I think there’s only 20 studios there. It expires 2042. And lately it’s even been difficult to book there at with limited availability. Originally $67/point I believe

Get your stimulus and give it to DVC (the poor), not on your life.

There are also 45 lock off 2 bedrooms, which probably book mostly as studios. It's a small resort, but there aren't very many reports of getting shut out at 11 months. AFAIK, it's only been tough to get studios there during December. Once the rehab II s completed, my guess is that it will become more popular.

We get money for our children but we let them choose what to do with it. Last time, they chose to give it to St. Jude’s. This time, they’ve selected a food pantry and soup kitchen run by Saint Vincent De Paul.

It wouldn’t buy us more than a few points, unfortunately.
Oops. This time around, we didn’t even get money for the children. I didn’t realize kids were also subject to the phaseout this time. So I guess I wouldn’t buy anything because we are getting $0 :rotfl2:I will still make a donation to the Saint Vincent De Paul pantry and soup kitchen in their names because I can’t let my kids down now that I had them choose where to donate their $600 each.
