If I do Spoodles for breakfast,

can I get to HS from there? My husband is a big breakfast lover. I'd like to plan a couple of good breakfast meals for him that would be incorporated with my park planning. If I do Spoodles at Boardwalk, can I get to HS without having to go back to my resort (Poly)? Or is there a better breakfast option near HS?

You can walk directly from BW to DHS. It's pleasant walk along a waterway. Depending on how fast you walk, it's somewhere around 20 minutes. It's a chance to work off a little of your big breakfast.

You can take a boat from BW. It stops at YC and Swan/Dolphin.

Or you can take a short walk to Swan/Dolphin and take the boat to DHS from there, nonstop.

Unless you're very lucky and a boat arrives at the pier immediately after you do, walking is usually the quickest way to go. But the boat ride is fun, especially if you sit in the open-air seating at the back of the boat.

Keep in mind on the morning you want to go to DHS, that if you are trying to get there at RD, you might want to leave earlier. I can't remember Spoodles breakfast hours, but we were at BWI and one morning we got to the boat dock just after 8:30AM and had to wait for a 2nd boat because they will only take a %age of people waiting from each resort (BWI, Beach & Yacht, Swan & Dolphin). You could go to the park first (if you don't want to worry about timing) and eat breakfast at DHS. Starring Roles is open in the AM and you could run and get FP for TSM first and then eat breakfast. Or if the rest of your group isn't interested you could do something else while your better half dines.

Cape May Cafe at the beach club has a breakfast buffet. It's more or less the same walk/boat ride to DHS. How does your dh feel about eating with characters?

I have to agree...Spoodles is one of our favorites for breakfast. As a matter of fact, our friend, who is going for the third time with us, just asked me if we were going to be doing a Spoodles breakfast. Good choice...good food, good service, not a lot of people if you go early.

We did Spoodles once and it was terrible. I would go to Cape May instead.....that place is fantastic!

Spoodles is also "right next door" to the Boardwalk Inn. You could also take a bus from the Boardwalk Inn to DHS. Personally, I think it's quicker to walk since the bus generally makes multiple stops.

DH loves Spoodles, it opens at 7:00 or 7:30am.

It is a ten minute walk to DHS, or the boat dock is almost right out the front door of the restaurant.

We thought our Spoodles dinner was horrible too - terrible service as well, but maybe breakfast will be better?
