Especially on the mobile site.... When you go to a thread it doesnt remember or it automatically starts the thread with message one. I know you can just go to the bottom and hit the arrow and it goes to the end but if it would just start on the latest not 5 years ago (in some cases)

I'm not sure how it works on a mobile site, but on a desk/lap top, if there are new posts (since the last time you visited that thread) the thread title is bold, and clicking on it will take you to the first new post.

If there have been no new posts since the last time you visited, the thread title is not bolded and clicking on it will take you to the first post on the thread.

Or, on a thread with multiple pages, you can click on a specific page number (within the last 3 pages) to go there. Once you open a multiple page thread, you can click on the ". . ." window in the page number sequence and it will open a window where you can select a specific page to go to.

I guess I haven't had this issue. When I return to read new posts on a thread, it always jumps to the first unread post - be that #12 on page 1 or #125 on page 6. It works this way on both my laptop and my phone. Are you sure you are logged in when returning to read the new posts?
