Based on my experience you will receive '08 points, if you purchase before July 31, 09

I purchased an add-on Dec UY in Nov of 08 and I received 07 and 08 points. They also allowed me to bank the 07 points even though it was well pass the banking deadline. Also I paid only 1 month of MF's for the 07 points. I don't know if this is always the case, but that's what happened in my situation.

We *just* (10 minutes ago!) added on 50 AKV points to our August Use Year, and received 2008 and 2009 points

Apparently there's some sort of limiting factor, however, as the guide told me that only 200 August points were remaining for AKV that included 2008 points.

I think you'll be okay with SSR in that regard - AKV has the added complication of Jambo vs. Kidani, with many of the points deeded to Kidani not being "open" until 2009 - same with BLT, I'd imagine. Might want to make a quick call to your guide to check.
