If I book a Sept package now, can I use a discount later?

If I book a September package in a week or two, and in a few months a discount for September comes out, can I still call the reservations office and have them put in the discount on my package? We've done this for a WDW package before, but wasn't sure if you can at Disneyland!

Also--do they usually have some kind of discount/special for September?
