If I add on now.....do I get 07 points?

Just wondering if I should rush to add on before the end of the year?

My use year is April.....If I add on now instead of say Jan.....will
I get this years points as well?

If the points are available, you will get the points from the UY you are buying the points in. So, you can even add on in February, March and get '07 points.

I just added on for June Use Year at AKV on the 30th and they are sold out of June - sold out that day. She said they were already sold out of April too, sorry

Boy, that's a shame. I just added on AKV 2 weeks ago, a March UY, and I did get '07 points! I've booked a September get away for me and a friend with those points!

If you really want them, call your guide. People do change their minds and points just may become available.

they are currently selling that.....they would have it....

I thought waitlist was for sold out resorts

If I understand this.....I might have to go on a waitlist to add on
points at AKL on my WLV contract

Way to excited about this. My husband was trying to surprise me for Christmas an add on. Well, I found out tonight about it He said that we may be getting 07 points and 08 points. If we get 07 points, do they need to be used for a vacation prior to us receiving our 08 points or can I bank them to us during our 08 UY?

I can't believe that they are sold out of ALL June and April use years--forever??? OR is that just to get in for June and April 07 UY points---good grief--I wasn't planning an add-on for at least another year!

Wow, that is depressing. I was considering an AKV add on of 25 points. I have a June uy. I will call my guide to verify.

perhaps it's because the kidani village units aren't up/in the system yet.
they will likely have more april/june available when they begin coming online
--like the as the sections of saratoga came on line more points became available...

As more units are added they will have additional points for those UY. I think it's likely they'll have June points for the Kadani building prior to June, April, might be a stretch. Assuming they've declared all the units in the conversion, they may not have any more units until then.

I haven't counted but it looks like there are about 1/4 of the units in Jambo House still to be declared. They had been declaring new units every month but that seems to have slowed. They haven't declared any new units since early October. Here is a map showing the units declared so far:

The "unit" sizes will vary somewhat in this situations based on where the units are and how they fit together. DVD will balance the number/size of the units declared to their needs as well. They will tend to draw many of the lines at physical barriers or obvious divisions such as when you go from one section of the building to another, one floor and hallways. The whole reason they do it phased like this is to have units to sell (they must be declared FIRST) on one hand and to keep control and the ability to rent on the other. They units also be within a certain range of being usable. They can't break up a lockoff I don't believe.

If you look at the diagram, you can see these forces at work. Look at your unit (2) and 24 where they obviously decided to have more smaller units but could easily just have made them larger units. Or units like 47 & 50 where they didn't stop at hard barriers because they needed a larger unit to declare for more points.

The other thing that stems from the units are the voting options. Each unit has a vote the way things are currently set up.

At this point yes they are but until the second building is declared, DVD still could do anything they wanted. No I don't think you'll ever see priority based on where you own within that single resort.

Thanks....I hope not....just worried that with concierge and value rooms, along with the established restaurants and kids club....
that Jambo house might become it's own DVC....

I hope that points become available in my april use year....I think that
would make me more comfortable.
