If HP opens in June,

please play the what if game with me. IF HP opened in June, is it insane to consider a trip in August?

We are rope drop people. I know it will be hot but do you think crowds will be manageable in the early am? It's all a guesstimate at this point but for those who were there a couple months after HP1 opened, what was your experience.

Good question ... we will be there in middle of July staying at rpr for 5 nights. I have seen the youtube videos of Harry Potters opening day and that was crazy. With fotl and early entry hopefully it wont be too bad

Last time, I planned a vacation in June for the "spring opening" and our vacation was opening week. We stayed away and went to WDW instead. Learned my lesson and not going to plan anything until AFTER they announce opening day.
