If FP+ has opened, can you still change it?

If I get to the ride for my fastpass+ and find the standby line is quite short, is it possible to change my fastpass+ to a different ride if I'm already in the window?

Yes!! Its one of the things I really did like about FP+! I often pushed back or changed our FP selections if we could do stand-by easily.

Yes but is subject to availability. So depending on how late in the day other attractions may be booked out.

As long as you don't scan your MagicBand (or RFID card) at the attractions FP+ entrance, you can reschedule to a different time or a different attraction (subject to availability).

Yes. We did it. At AK we got to Everest very early. The line was a walk-on, so we "saved" the FP+ and booked FOTLK (via my phone) for later that morning in its place.

Thanks for the confirmations. Has anyone tried to re-book to a FP+ they used earlier? For example, you use your Everest FP+ in the morning, go to Dinosaur for your next FP+ but standby line is short, can you re-book to Everest? Does the system remember what you've used that day?

FP+ does not allow repeat rides on the same attraction in a day.

I specifically tried this, this past week to see if it would work. It did not. Rode Tomorrowland Speedway with FP+. After using the FP+ I tried to rebook that FP+ selection for later in the day. Not allowed to, system knew it had been used. Tried to change another FP+ selection to the Speedway was also not allowed to do it, system knew I had already ridden the Speedway. Seems this is one bit of coding they did correctly.

I'm hoping that on our AK day we'll actually be able to knock out the three FP+ I have picked without needing to use any of them. If that happens I'm rescheduling FP+ for Test Track I think.

Well this is very good news. I booked a few late morning FPs and I hope I don't have to use them.

I have also found that I can change a FP+ to be for right NOW after I've used the one before it. So I can't pre-book back to back (like at the same time frame) that I can only book a second FP+ for AFTER the first window has expired. However! If you use that FP+ at the beginning of your time frame you can move your next one up. At least if there is availability. I like this because we can pop over and do three rides back to back without it taking three hours. ;)

Good luck!
