If FEA is down during FP+ time

If FEA goes down during our FP time I know we can ride it when it comes back up; but, we only have 1 day at EP and the time is 6-7, so riding it later may not be an option. Will Soarin' or TT be one of the listed rides we can substitute for FEA if we can't ride it? Thanks.

Yes you can pick one that is in tier 1 or tier 2 when you hold a tier 1 FP+ that goes down.
And you don't have to do anything in order to get it.
Just walk up to the desired attractions and tap your magic band and it should allow you access.

Great! Thank you!! That makes possibly having to miss FEA a bit more palatable if I can at least get a different Tier 1 ride.

You'll have to check the email and verify if Soarin or TT is listed. Not every tier 1 FP if it goes down guarantees you another tier 1. Last month when we had a FP for TT and it went down, since it was 8pm, the system gave us an anytime FP that was good through the rest of that night, or to use the following day at another park. Even though TT is a tier 1, the email stated that the anytime FP couldn't be used for FEA.

So if your FEA FP goes down, you'll likely be able to use it on TT or Soarin, but just double check.

For our email our FP could be used at anything except: FEA, Illuminations, Fantasmic, or RoL

OK, I'll be sure to check if it happens. We are at MK the next day, so that would work too if we got one like you did. And whatever happens, we're at Disney!!!!

When TT went down last week, the substitute FP excluded FEA and Illuminations.

TT continued to have issues so we used them on Soarin' instead.
