*IF* FD is offered, will my current ressie confirmation # change?

I'm just wondering because I have made ALL of my ADRs for our August trip, but they are now linked to my resort ressie #. If in the next few weeks a better code becomes available (since I have a 20% off rack room rate at the moment, and yes, I know, this promo goes bye-bye if I book with a different code), will all my ADRs be erased? Do I need to call and get my ressie confirm # off of them and link them to my phone # instead? I am just trying to figure this out because I got all the ADRs I wanted... I think I'd cry if they all got purged.

Do you have a room only reservation now or a package? If you have a package, the reservation number will stay the same since you will be modifying your existing ressie (if you are able to take advantage of free dining) If you have room only booked, that will have to be cancelled and you will re-book as a package to get FD. You will then have a different reservation number.

BUT... even if you have to change ressie numbers, your ADR's will not be cancelled when the room only ressie is cancelled. They are independent of each other, even though you "linked" them to book 180 + 10. No worries.

Nope. I have a package booked (including dining, resort, and passes). Good to know! And yes, I did "link" them to book 180 + 10, so that's why I was kind of worried. LOL! Now all I need is a better offer than 20% off the resort rate. FD would be heavenly.

Good! That will make it infinitely easier to modify your ressie when/if FD is announced. Your deposit will stay and your reservation number will not change as you will be modifying an exisiting ressie. Good luck; I hope you are able to get FD!
