The screaming noisy kids at Stormalong Bay scare me more than my beloved Clown at BW. They can have their overated crowded pool area.

And if they are, that means that they won't be booking there, which works out great for me because it frees up rooms..LoL.

For some strange reason, many people have a clown phobia. Several of my daughters friends (now 19) fall into that category.

Perhaps they could make it a big Mickey Mouse instead!

My dd, now 19, used to be terrified of clowns. I mean seriously afraid...we would have them at church for events and she would cower behind me for the entire evening. She was chosen to participate in a circus show in Florida once...she refused because it had clowns!! And she would have to interact with them!!
But, she loves the slide at BW!!! It's one of her favorite things to do now. From the time she was 12, she would come hurtling out of that dang clown's mouth, screaming 'clown barf!!!!'.

I hope they never change the clown...he's part of Luna Park. If people don't care for the clown, fine. There are lots of other options in WDW!!!

I don't have a clown phobia, but count me among the people who thought that was the creepiest pool slide I've ever seen.

Yes, it's reminiscent of a "demonic" clown such as Stephen King's "It" or "Insane Clown Posse" or other creepy halloween clown masks. I'm not afraid of clowns, but I can see how this thing would totally freak others out!

Lol. People who go to Disney and complain about noisy kids leave me scratching my head. As for your fear of screaming kids, there is nothing to be afraid of. It's just kids...at Disney...having fun.

MY kids are not noisy or bothersome in any way. They are PERFECT little angels.
