If buying resale, can banked pointed be rented?

I am looking into buying resale, but we were just there. If I buy a resale with banked points, can I rent these points out to a non-member and/or transfer them to an existing member? I am just looking at recouping some money since we wouldn't start using it until 2004.

You can rent the points. Of course, the trip booked with the banked points must take place before the banked points expire (at the end of the use year).

Banked points cannot be transferred.
