If Back to the Future closes, what will replace it?

I've heard from Screamscape.com that Back to the Future might close at the end of summer to make way for a new ride, but as of right now they're just speculating on what will replace it.

Whatever does replace it better be good since I'll definitely miss BTTF. When they took out King Kong I felt bad but MUMMY is one of my favorites so It's fine but Back to the Future was like my favorite ride when I first went to USF back in like 1990, so I'll definitely miss it since I also love the movies as well!!!

I would settle for a remodel of the ride. It is so rough, that most trips I skip it altogether. But I like the ride. It is just too rough on these old bones.

I agree, many years since I have been on BTTF - just too rough and jerky, would be great if they could smooth it out a bit.

They're possibly closing because the Flux Capacitor is fried.

The replacement has to be bit of Car-based cause it will be the same type of the ride. so I would say the possible replacement would be:
1. fast and furious
2. transformers
3. simpsons.

I just hope that whatever goes into the space if BTTF is removed doesn't have head banging walls in the back!

Almost every time I've been on that thing, I've been forced into the back seat, usually in a side seat. Now, I'm a tall guy, and sitting in the back of one of those Deloreans means my head is right up against the side wall - ant bouncing on it like a tennis ball through the whole ride.

Rumoured to be closing in the fall. This ride has not been getting good reviews lately.

The rumoured replacement is a Simpsons attraction of some kind.
