Like many others on the DISboards, I've been trying to get a dinner reservation at Le Cellier for our upcoming trip. I was able to make a lunch ADR, but dinner times were completely booked. (The lunch menu looks good, but the dinner menu looks even better!) For the last month, I've been checking online every few days & I even called Disney Dining a couple of times to see if there might be a hidden stash of openings available only by phone. (There weren't. LOL)

I finally hit the jackpot tonight! I found *one* opening at 4 pm. Not the best time for dinner, but I'll take it! I'm going to keep checking to see if a later time opens up, but at least we've got something.

I thought I'd post this story to encourage people to keep checking if they're not able to get a reservation at their favorite Disney restaurant. If it worked for me, it can work for you too.

Keep hope alive! I just canceled a Le Cellier dinner ADR for 5 in early December last night. I know I made someone's day!!!

Persistence worked for me! I've been checking online and lurking on the December cancellations board every free moment since we booked our trip at about 150 days out. Tonight I was able to score a dinner ADR @ LeCellier courtesy of a fellow DISer who cancelled their ADR. The good news is that I, DH and my DMIL will be enjoying an awesome dinner at LC! The bad news is my two aunts arrive the next day and I haven't been able to find a LC reservation for all of us (yes, I would eat there twice in one trip if I could get so lucky!). I will keep wishing for pixie dust and won't give up until my last day in the parks because I believe!!!! Love the DIS!

I just lucked out!!! Thought I would check wdw website while here at work and must have been showered in pixie dust cause I got a 4:45pm res on 1/2/11. Can you believe it? I have beed trying since summer to get on res.

Thanks to Pumba's Truth I now have a reservation for 4 for LeCellier on Nov 21, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, if there is a party of 2 that want to join my friend and I, we'll be there for 2:35, pm me to arrange things, I'd LOVE to share my birthday with fellow DISers!!
