If anyone is awake - what is your kitchen "theme"?

Want to do something temporary here at the lake until next year - or so..

My "kitchen" is a combo kitchen/living area.. Eventually I will go with the real "campy" theme - bears; log cabins; canoes; etc. - but for now I've been thinking about sunflowers or birdhouses.. EVERYTHING in here will be white except the antique table and chairs; the recliner; and eventually a sofa bed..

Any other suggestions for a temporary theme?

That's interesting.. :) What kind of things do you have?

My kitchen in our old house was sunflower theme. (We moved a year and a half ago) I loved it! It was so cheery...and green is one of my favorite colors.

Our new kitchen is gradually taking shape...I'm waiting to see how it will turn out-I love chickens and roosters, but also have a cottage garden feel to the rest of the house, so it may turn out more herb garden theme.

we have art prints of wine bottles, grapes, a print of a beaujolais label, and plastic grapes hanging from the wall. here is a picture,

Mickey Mouse andreallt old theme park stuff : ) I like it

:wave2: I'm still up...scraping the wallpaper paste off my powder room walls - ugh.

My kitchen is done in fruits. I have a canister set, the tea towels and potholders, and my dishes have fruit on the rims. I also bought magnets for the fridge.

Mine is not highly themed, but I do have a lot of teapot stuff. A very easy theme - especially if you already have a couple of teapots or teacups.

I have no theme, but mine is mainly whites, creams and accented with silver accessories.

Mine was a sunflower theme.... Now its a "mess untill the kitchen guy comes back and finishes what he started" theme grrrr

My kitchenis a soda fountain theme Mostly old ice cream and soda stuff. but i do have a very cool Coke stand up cooler. I use lots of old advertisments as art. It has taken many years to collect everything. the only thing left is a jukebox and a dinning booth.

Mine has a beachy feel. White wainscotting halfway, skiy blue walls, prints of beaches/palm trees/lighthouses, vases with sand and shells, whitewashed cabinets, natural shelves.

Apples. Although I've had it a while now, so I am getting sick of it.

Same here. But I'm moving soon, so I have to think up a new theme for my new kitchen. :)

Mine is a vintage coca cola theme. When we bought our house the previous owner had remodeled to include seafoam green countertops. I hated them but didn't have the $$ to replace them so I came up with a color scheme that worked. The backsplash is white subway tile with light green mosaic glass tile accents and I've decorated with vintage coke ads (from old magazines) in frames and interesting coca cola bottles from my DH's coke collection. NOw I can't imagine any other color in there. :)

Mine is Roosters/chickens. I have any and every wire, wooden, plastic, ceramic chicken, canisters, wall hangings. My husbands sick of it but I love them. Good luck.

is "dirty" a theme?

Our old kitchen was fruits, mostly apples and grapes....
