does anyone know where to find clift notes to the book 1984. i don't get the book and so i was woundering what it was about if any could help please do.

i read this book last year. basically, orwell was portraying an extremely communist world. i can't really explain it any better than that. you can get a free account at www.sparknotes.com. Spark notes are just like cliff notes, but a little shorter. I use them a lot, lol, especially when i don't have time to read.

^that site's pretty good too, i've used it once or twice, but i usually just go for the spark notes. lol, one year i didn't read a single book in english......just did spark notes. But it's fun to actually read the books, so i try not to do that unless i'm really in a bind.
