When/where were green sandals available?

Before the game went "live" in June, green flip flops were sold in the Clothing
section. Since the VMK staff members have green flips, maybe VMK staff
thought people might try to impersonate staff members.

I really don't know the answer, but that's my theory. Those who've
purchased the green flips still have them in their inventory.
