IE browser hijacked

Hi guys I need computer help my IE browser got hijacked and I can't figure out to get unhijacked.

Here's what I done so far:
Ran AD-Ware 6.0
Ran Shybot

Tried to change Internet Options and still comes back.

Search my C: drive for sex files and delate all on those.

I am about to pull my hair out.

Can some please help figure this out.

What specifically is happening? You may need an update to Spybot. Or if it is adding a specific toolbar for example you can search Google for that toolbar and it may have a fix. Two other options would be to go to Contol Panel/Add Remove Programs and see if there is anything you can delete there or do Ctrl-Alt-Del and see if anything is running there that shouldn't be.

It use this http://www.fastwebfinder.com/ url as it start page. If can't get specific url then goes to http://www.fastwebfinder.com/ again.

That's what it's doing.

Have you just tried changing your start page back to whatever it was originally? Sometimes changing the start page is part of the hijack. Even if Spybot cleans it up you have to manually change the start up back. So you may have already fixed the original problem but just need to change the page.

Tried that to. Have went back the Add/Remove did not see anything out of the ordinary.

That one the first things that I tried. The IE Browser is still acting a fool.

My DH's computer got hijacked a month ago and no amount of spyware cleaners helped. Well, turns out we had to manually clean out the registry using regedit and believe me they're hard to find. Sometimes these hijack codes are buried and scattered in every nook and cranny of windows.

Unfortunately hijacking is a growing trend nowadays, as hackers and marketers move from pop-up ads and spyware.

I suggest you also make sure your Windows is updated with the latest security patches. Unfortunately Windows was built around a source code from the 1960's when hacking was in its infancy.

Sorry this was so long, but as I've had to deal with this at home and at work it really ticks me off when these companies do these just to gain more hits to their page so they can reap more money.
