Ie 7

No it doesn't slow mine down. However, I am running into problems with some websites still using IE6 and not being able to access it.

I uninstalled it about 10 minutes after I got it- haaaaated the new design! It's just such a big change all at once!

Apparently I'm old and set in my ways ;)

I've updated to IE7 twice and went back to IE6 each time. It's not running right so I'll wait until any bugs get fixed. :confused3

I found that it actually runs a little faster than IE6 for me. I like the new design. I cannot wait until the new versions of Office are available. They have the same new design. I was a beta tester and very quickly got used to the new menus and such, but cannot install the beta on my computers at work. :(

I've had it for a while as well with no problems at all I also run Netscape for my Dings and a few other things. I run a MSN browser for all my E-mails as well.

With all three running I have had no problems at all.I normally have about 4 to 6 tabs open on IE7 and 1 or 2 on NS

It took me a while to get used to it, But after I tweaked it to where it's similar to my IE6 I like it. I just need to download it onto DDs desktop now :)

I hate it, but know that I have to get used to it eventually. Especially hate that all the functions have been moved from one corner to another and that there is no automatic "E-mail" button on the toolbar(at least for Outlook Express). Tech Support told me that I would have to go into my Program List off of the start button EVERY time I wanted to sign on to my E-mail. Lickliy there are better workarounds posted her & elsewhere on the Web.
To me IE7 is like Microsoft re-designing the QWERTY keyboard. Yeah, it might technically be prettier/have better functionality/whatever, but it is extremely hard to re-learn where everything *is*.

It's kind of funny, Microsoft Tech Support has sent me multiple follow-up e-mails and has now called me twice asking me my opinion of IE7. Do they think my opinion of their product will change if they ask me enough times?

agnes!

I dl'd it 2 weeks ago and it came along with a nice virus that shut down other programs and kept shutting IE7 down. I deleted it and went back to IE6 and have no problems.

Microsoft sucks IMO....I give them a year until I use their products so they can get their flaws out.

I may have to uninstall it. I just don't like it. I do not care for the button placement. The only thing I can find that I like is that the favorites closes after you select what you want.

I hate it but Im afraid to try to uninstall it. I hope someone comes out with a patch SOON.

OMG I hate IE7!!! Just uninstalled it myself about 10 minutes ago. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove > click on Windows IE 7 > click uninstall.

Just got off the phone with Earthlink, they said that IE 7 is a trial version and not to install it until January.

YEAH, I just uninstalled it. was holding my breath the whole time. like the old version much better
