Idina Menzel!!

DD14 and I are going to see Idina tonight!! We are very excited!!
Has anyone seen her concert? Any idea how long it is?

GREAT concert!! I highly recommend to go and see her!! Very talented and funny too!!

I saw her tonight (sunday) in NJ!

She was Fantastic!!!!!
I had never seen her before and I almost got tix to go up to CT to see her on Tuesday night.... ( the long drive home on a weeknight changed my mind)

My DD19 and my DD6 loved it too... my 6 year old says she is a "big fan" now....

I loved her in the movie version of Rent. I didn't know she did concerts, I thought she was just an actor-who-can-sing like the rest of the cast of that movie. And DH hears me grumble every time I see the movie Enchanted that she did not sing in it- it is a musical, after all, and she has a great voice.

yes theinteraction is fun...more like a casual nightclub act....
not such a "staged" show....
but the music is tight! She has a fantastic band accompanying her!!!

oh you have to try and see her on a tour... if you are already a fan you will be blown away!!!

only heard her on the cast recording of Wicked... and I only saw the movie of the final perormance of rent...and she was not in that...
My dd19 is the one who said we should go see her... We saw her at a small theatre at my dd university...

She closed with Defying Gravity, but it was closer to the version on "I stand" than the Wicked version, IMO

She was great in Enchanted. Did you know she's married to Taye Diggs?

I heard a rumour that she's going to sing in Enchanted II. At on epoint during the show, she said something about missing her husband, and there were some mumurs of "Taye!"

I have been a fan since she was in Wicked. She had an amazing voice and I would LOVE to see her in concert!
