Identical twins due in October

Just found out I will be the grandmother of identical twin girls due October 8th. This will be grandchildren 5 & 6. Makes it 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson. First time in 50 years twins will be born in the family. The last set were identical girls also. Can't wait till October!!!!

They are in the same placental sac. Which means they are from the same egg.

Congratulation!

My first granddaughter was born 8 years ago. She came earlier than expected -- and I was at Disney World. However, my son-in-law called me at 4:00 am to help out my daughter who was having a rough labor.

My second granddaughter was born 6 years ago -- and I was in the delivery room to welcome her.

This past November I took them on their 2nd visit to Disney World (with Grandma).

Grandchildren are the greatest!

Kids are great but grandchildren are better. You can send them home when they're fussy. I have two of my grandchildren staying the week with me now. Ages 3 and 7 months. I am in heaven . Not quite Disney but close.
