The differences have been covered well by most, but I wanted to just note that yes, Tiki Room, Pirates, HM and Space Mountain are better, and definitely do not miss the Remember... Dreams Come True fireworks. They are very special and very different from Wishes.

Its funny how these stories get "twisted" over the years by the new CM's.

Actually, it may have been begun by the time you visited, but the story has been in many offical Disney books, including the new "Imagineering Guide to Magic Kingdom", and it's been a published record for many years from those that worked on it.
