I'm 16 and have been going to WDW since I was basically 3. My cousin (who I love dearly) is coming down with us for her first WDW trip in December. Her father bought her the Unoffical Guide to Walt Disney World", and she has been reading it very little because she has been soooo busy helping out with things around the house.

She loves rides, and everything Disney -- which is great!!!!

I've told her about my favorite things: Fantasmic, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller Coaster, etc. The list goes on and on.

Is there anything new there that you all think a 14 year old would adore? Meaning: shows. . . etc.

Thanks for the help!!

We plan on watching that DVD of the main things to see/do in WDW on our way down there. We're driving, and I think that will get her really excited. Probably more excited when we pull into the Disney World property!!!

Side note: we're driving from Maryland. Long..... lol

Renting a mouseboat may be fun for you two. Little speedboats that you can drive aroud the lagoon. You can rent them at any lagoon resort marina. where are you staying? You might also like to have her hair wrapped. Wrapping is done at resorts and the water parks.
:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Have a great time.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Hi!
We'll also be driving down from Maryland in December!

My DD (just turned 13yo) enjoys getting charms at each of the resorts & parks we visit. Each gift shop has an area with bracelets, necklaces, & dozens of charms to choose from.

DD & I each have a "park" bracelet, which we enjoy adding charms with a MK, Epcot, MGM, or AK design. We each also have a "resort" bracelet & we enjoy collecting the charms from the specific resorts.

She still enjoys getting character autographs as well....esp. Prince Charming's!

What about getting a manicure and/or pedicure at the GF spa?? I am not sure about prices, but I have done several spa treatments with my daughter there!

Sorry, another thought...what about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (I have no idea how to spell that) and get the princess makeover with hair/makeup and tiara...I think that would be fun for any age! You do not have to do the costumes or anything!

I'm 16 and really want to do that.
But. . .I think you have to be a certain age to do it. I never seen older kids come out with their hair all nice.
:(

I don't think you do.
I'm 14 and my dad called a few weeks ago to make a reservation for me.
The person on the other end of the line didn't say anything about age...
