I want something really special to give to my Mom for Christmas this year. I'm thinking a Scrapbook celebrating her life. I think I'll use the Creative Memories 'Forget Me Not' Album but I'm not sure how to go about arranging the book. Should I start from her childhood or should I do an ABC type of book or what? I want to get all of our family to journal in the book, telling stories, etc. I am so excited. Now I just need some ideas. I know you gals are great at this so please help!

Thanks!
Kelly

I Just finished one for my mom. This is what I did I used a 12x12 book. the first page was a dedication page, then it was her as a small child, (from here it was a 2pg spread) the next page was her mom and grand ma and info on the Strong women in her life, the next pages was a photo of my fatheras a young boy sitting and I wrote about waiting for his true love. the next pg was of them together and the engagement. the next page was a photo of the wedding and the ajoining page I wrote about all the things they did before children an I also included events that they saw in their lives the next 2 pages were the pictures of me and my sis young the nex two were family photos then I did a page of when my dad died and a page when my grand ma died. the next pages were of my wedding and my sisters . the nexx tow were grand children last page was a group photo of all of us and I wrote on that page We love you

I did a book for my 85 year old Mom about a year ago. It was an 8 1/2 x 11 CM, split roughly in thirds. The first part was done in heritage style, with pictures from her childhood and her life in New York when she first married and as a new mother. This section had lots of old family pictures with her parents and my dad's family. The second part was her life during our school years in Washington DCl. The final part was her life after we left home, as a grandmother and great-grandmother and things we have done together since I had children. I did mostly 2 page spreads and it was the best present I have ever given her. She cried when she looked through it, and keeps it handy to look at over and over.
