I am kinda stuck - My family and my best friends family are heading to Florida June 23 - June 27 - a short trip thanks to SWA's 50$ r/t airfare to Tampa

My family has been many times, but she hers has never been :sad1: She is on a limited budget this trip

We are not hitting WDW this trip...but will be going to BG-Tampa and Seaworld (we all already have passes) - I was thinking about adding in Universal if we can get reasonable tickets too

So to do this trip as cheap as possible for her family - where can we stay that will accomodate our families of 6 :confused3 (most hotels are out)
and is close by where we want to be :confused3

In the past I've stayed at Orbit One Villas and Palms Hotel and Villas
However both of those this trip are pushing $600.00 for just the 4 nights

Does anyone have any suggestions????

Thanks - Crystal

A few more details would be helpful...

How many adults, how many kids? Do you want accommodations for each family, or would you all like to be together in one unit.

What is your target budget for accommodations for each family?

Thanks!

Sorry I wasn't clear

We each have a family of 6 - (that is 2 adults and 4 kids each)

I don't want to be together - (too many kids :rolleyes1 ) so two seperate units

Doesn't really matter at this point if it is a timeshare, villa, suite, hotel - just as long as it fits in her budget - around $500.00 or less for the 4 nights per accomodation

Thanks

if they can afford a little more - I would go for the 3-bedroom.

now there was a problem with hotelkingdom - but it was the fault of the management company that CP uses.

hopefully it will never happen again.

Regal Palms in Davenport has 3 and 4 bdr townhomes at resonable prices - you can try via bookit.com, travelocity, etc as well as renting direct from owner at vrbo.com, etc. It puts you closer to Busch Gardens but farther from Universal. There have been some mixed reviews of it - mostly management/check-in problems, telephones, and such, but we stayed there in '04 and it was very nice for the money - the pool, lazy river, slide was great. There is a grocery and a few retaurants (pizza, chinese, etc) close by.
